Abolish the BBC TV Licence

 My Reasons Why

1) Bullying

Threatening us all by way of the Newspaper Media, TV and Radio ad campaigns and also including giant roadside hoardings.

When one can't afford the cost of the TV Licence, those people feel both guilty and ashamed. The people that have trouble paying the Licence, once caught and prosecuted, their names appear on the pages of our local scabby daily's, acting as a warning to the rest of us. After seeing and hearing these adverts, I heeded the warnings, I personally went without a TV for 4 years because I don't like feeling guilty or ashamed, I was still intimidated for four years by TV Licensing, I wasn't believed when I told them that I didn't have a TV.

2) BBC holding my personal information.

I object to the BBC holding my personal details on their database, the BBC currently hold all of our National Insurance Numbers, just so that they will know when we reach retirement age, there by allowing us the pleasure of watching their shit programs "free of charge"

3) Shit programs, don't you think it outrageous that the BBC can recycle 20 year old comedies, we already paid to have the series originally filmed, we also paid our Licence fee 20 years ago to watch them, why are we paying again for the same product?  Or is it just an advert to sell us the DVD?

Only falls and horses

Open all hours

Fawlty Towers

Last of the summer wine

And many many more...

Why did the BBC pay good money to show The Simpson's, when we were already watching the series free of charge, on a commercial TV station.

4) I don't like subsidising the middle class's, They don't help me with my health service, why should I help them with their Aunties Upkeep.

I hear many people commenting just how cheap the TV Licence really is, just 30p a day, what about those of us that don't agree that the service offered is worth our hard earned money £121.00.

In a survey carried out a couple of years ago by the Daily Telegraph, 58% of those questioned would rather not pay for the BBC.

If the BBC have to raise nearly 3 Billion pounds to operate, how much would it cost for a TV Licence if those 58% questioned stopped paying.

The BBC would have to Raise 3 Billion pounds between the remaining 42%, not so cheap is it.

My Education stops when it comes to doing calculations like this.

(one gold star for you if you can work it out and let me know)

(two gold stars if you can give me your workings out)

The winner will probably be a boy because girls don't give a fuck ;)
