 My Thoughts

 (If you're interested)

I really don't like this society, the society that I have grown up in has changed so much, people used to care for each other and they used to have time for a chat and a get together, enjoy each others company, now on a good day they are bustled, jostled, hounded and herded, told to go there told to come here, It's not very nice being placed at the bottom of societies shit heap.

I had a couple of pleasant memories as a child watching the premiere of chitty chitty bang bang was one of them, I must have been aged about 10 or 11, I remember it being a posh occasion because there was a break in the film just where the car falls over the cliff, during this break, drinks and biscuits where available and plentiful, I can't remember who took me but what I do remember it was a children's home outing.

Then forty odd years later this memory is wiped clean away, on the strength of one TV advert, I'm talking about the Car Tax Evasion advert, where chitty (the car) is in the air but chained from the ground, whilst we have singing and dancing traffic wardens, threatening us all to be good citizens (what a shame), what really pisses me off most is the fact that our tax money is going into the pockets of these media types, you know the ones I mean, the ones with the pony tails who think they're creative.

Another state advert, benefits fraudsters, just like captain scarlet, with the baddies being the misterones, (that's us) with the rings around us, again paid for by the tax payer.

Another conflicting state advert "pick it up its yours" I done just that in Woolworth's some thirty years ago only it was a mars bar that I thought should be mine and not as shown on the advert a stash of pennies, I was cautioned and locked up for some 4 hours, the moral don't pick it up its not yours. (until you're given it)

More and more the government through their stupid ill thought out laws are restricting us all, we are working longer hours, having fewer days off, and even working through our tea breaks, just to get the job done, all off these profits generated from our hard Labour is going straight up the tree to further feather the bed of our masters.

What is the use of this mobile phone ban whilst driving, I know that if I am boshing around a roundabout at 80 miles an hour, and my phone rings I will not answer because I'd probably die doing so, on the other hand if I am stuck in traffic for 2 hours and not going anywhere, why shouldn't I have the freedom to phone home, it's all about common sense some of us have it others don't. you can't make laws to fill in for lack of common sense, that's why I also have a problem with seat belts and crash helmets. extra little petty laws to occupy our days.

Keeps our courts busy, with wages of £200 an hour and perhaps more I wouldn't mind being kept busy for a day or so a week.
